Chicago, which has by far the most murders of any in America, including much bigger cities like Los Angeles and New York City, this summer has broken records for all gun crimes, including homicide. Sarah Hoye of the news magazine America Tonight on Al Jazeera- America looked at the causes of the problem, and at one brave attempt to stem it in a violent neighborhood of Southside Chicago. There, Sarah told KSFR's Dave Marash on HERE AND THERE, a mother named Tamar Menasseh has created a crime-fighting program called MASK.
