Sept. 14 - State Lawmakers, District Court Take Up Dianna Duran Corruption Charges

Tomorrow is the first district court appearance scheduled for New Mexico’s Secretary of State Dianna Duran.  She has been indicted on 64 counts of misuse of campaign funds, fraud, and other charges, and her preliminary hearing will be in front of First Judicial District Court Judge T. Glenn Ellington in Santa Fe.  Just down the street from the state district courthouse, Duran will also be the subject of discussion, as lawmakers convene at the Roundhouse to determine whether she should be impeached.  KSFR’s Deborah Martinez has more on that process and what voters are saying about whether the Secretary of State should resign.
