Conventional wisdom has it that boys are boys and girls are girls because of the ways their brains work. In other words, they are hard-wired to behave in certain gender-specific ways, and their talents as well as their shortcomings are built in from birth. Psychologist and author Cordelia Fine will challenge that conventional wisdom at a Santa Fe Institute Community Lecturetonight at 7:30 at the James A. Little Theater. Alan Dee spoke with her to get a preview of the presentation.
