Yesterday, we lost a most cherished member of the KSFR and Santa Fe community. Radio Host, Local Treasure and man of thought and brilliance Craig Barnes, died at 79 after a long battle with Lymphoma. In April of 2013 Barnes stepped away from his weekly radio program Our Times with Craig Barnes, saying then he wanted to work on his book. He returned to his program many weeks later recognizing that radio, rather than books, gave him a more immediate response and larger impact to his work. When he left in April, he left his listening audience with this message, greatly shortened for length.
