The Northern New Mexico Radio Foundation announces recent additions to its Board
The Northern New Mexico Radio Foundation is pleased to announce the following recent additions to its Board of Directors:
Sharon Stewart – Sharon is a photographer who has lived in the Mora Valley 20 YEARS where she has chronicled its cultural landscape, as well as the acequia culture of El Cerrito, NM. Her photographs have been acquired for Special Collections Libraries in the American West and have been exhibited and published throughout the United States and Europe. While living in Houston she chaired the Board of its Pacifica station, KPFT, and represented the station on the Pacifica Foundation's National Board.
David Paulsen – David has had a long media career in television movie production, on the stage and even on ice. He has produced, directed and written for such shows as Dynasty, Dallas, Knots Landing, Dangerous Curves on TV and such movies as Schizoid, Diamonds, Proof of the Man, and Uranium Conspiracy. He has been a habitué of Santa Fe for over a dozen years, finally finishing his dream house in the last few years.
Mary Ann Shaening - Mary Ann has had a long career with her own consulting firm in Santa Fe specializing in public sector organizational development and system change. The majority of her contracts are with state and local government entities, philanthropic foundations, non-profit health and human services organizations, and advocacy agencies. She has worked with numerous agencies facilitating board development and strategic planning.
The diversity of experience and skills that these new members bring will continue to strengthen the NNMRF Board.
Also Board member Tom Johnson has chosen to not seek reelection at the end of his two year term. Tom’s knowledge of media trends and forward thinking vison of the impact on KSFR has been invaluable.
