Feb. 24 - Alaska Is Third State to Legalize Marijuana; Washington Hosts Canna-Con

Alaska today became the third U.S. state to legalize the recreational use of marijuana. But it's still illegal to smoke pot in public, and violators can be hit with a $100 fine. Voters in November approved legalizing marijuana use by adults in private places, which has left some people confused about what "in private" means. The state's alcohol regulatory board plans to meet today to sort things out. Washington and Colorado are the only other states that allow recreational use of marijuana. Meantime, BBC reporter Tim Franks attends Canna-Con in Washington State, the biggest cannabis convention in the United States.Listen Here
