Feb. 13 -Doug Shupe of AAA on March to End DWI

Drinking and driving is a serious problem here in New Mexico as demonstrated by the fact that alcohol is involved in 40% of all traffic fatalities.  In some New mexico counties like Bernalillo, alcohol is involved in more than 50% of fatal auto crashes.  Tuesday at the state capitol, the Santa Fe Prevention Alliance will organize an event to remember those who have died or been injured in such crashes.  Marchers also want to generate support for tougher restrictions on those who drink and drive.  KSFR reporter Mary Lou Cooper talks with Doug Shupe of the American Automobile Association to get the details.
