Feb. 10 - SFPS Superintendent Joel Boyd's Possible Departure

This weekend it was announced that Santa Fe Superintendent Joel Boyd has been offered a job to head the Fort Worth Independent School district, a district comprised of 135 schools and 86,000 students. Whether Boyd accepts the job -- and an increased salary of nearly $150k dollars – has not yet been decided. Regardless, Boyd has said he would stay through this school year. KSFR's Zelie Pollon spoke with Santa Fe School board president Steven Carrillo about the announcement and what the School board is considering if and when Boyd leaves.
