Bill was one of the first news volunteers when KSFR began formatting operations in 2002. He became news director soon after, developing a staff of mostly volunteers who have produced more than 30,000 newscasts over the past decade.
He began in broadcasting while in school in Louisiana and later joined the news department of a Houston radio station. Following military service, he spent a career in corporate communications and consulting. After retiring, he and his wife Ellen moved to Santa Fe in 2000.
